Delete your account

For the Volontaire website and Android app · app.volontaire.mobile

You may request deletion of your Volontaire account and associated data at any time. You do not need to provide a reason or your password.

Submit a deletion request

1. Email us from the same email address used for your Volontaire account.
2. Use the subject Delete my Volontaire account.
3. We will verify the request if necessary, confirm receipt, and aim to complete deletion within 30 days.

What the request covers

• Your Firebase sign-in account and Volontaire profile.
• Saved opportunities, recommendations, project plans, volunteer logs, proof photos, and chat history tied to your account.
• Account-associated submissions, support tickets, organization suggestions or reports, and reviews, where they can be identified and deletion is not restricted for a legitimate reason.

What may be retained

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance. Provider backups and security logs can take additional time to expire. Information already sent directly to an outside organization or supervisor is controlled by that recipient and may require a separate request to them.

Delete only certain information

You can edit most profile details and remove optional information in the app. To request removal of specific information without closing your account, email us and clearly identify what you want removed.

Protect your account

Never email your password, verification code, government ID number, or payment information. Volontaire will not ask for your password to process deletion.
